吴旭阳博士于2020年获得中国科学院大学通信与信息系统博士学位，随后在瑞典皇家理工学院担任博士后研究员。其目前在南方科技大学自动化与智能制造学院（AiM，原系统设计与智能制造学院）担任副教授。主要研究兴趣包括分布式优化、大规模优化、机器学习及相关领域，并在控制领域顶级期刊IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control（IEEE TAC）、Automatica及人工智能顶级会议国际机器学习会议（ICML）发表多篇第一作者论文。
